The year is now 2022 and this song still rocks!!! I'm not joking, this song just popped into my had after nearly 30 years. I remember watching this video on MTV. What a trip ???? 2023 and it's my granddaughters favorite version of 3 Little Pigs...mom's not happy but I am the coolest grandma ever!! I remember riding in my dad's truck listening to this on tape, back when the label still said Green Jello. I was maybe all of 6 or 7 at the time and it was the first really heavy guitar riff that blessed my ears. Dad passed last year but hearing this really takes me back to some great days hanging out with him. Fun fact to those who don’t know, Danny Carey and Maynard James Keenan from Tool are both in this song. Danny is (obviously) playing the drums and Maynard is singing backup vocals (he does the “not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin!” part, and also played guitar). They both played live and recorded with Green Jellÿ from 1990-1993, before forming Tool with guitarist Adam Jones from 1993-now. **EDIT**: they actually formed Tool in 1990, but didn’t get their big start until 1993, so Green Jellÿ was one of their things before 1993 as Tool was gradually progressing through recording their first EP in 1992 and their first album in 1993. As a young child I was raised on rock and metal! This song remains a classic, and I remember calling the local radio station Banana 101.5 (Flint, MI) in the 90s requesting this to be played! Turned 30 this past July and had my first child, SHE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE LISTENING TO THIS! When you gotta read the kids a bedtime story but you’re metal af Myself, my 5 year old and 3 year old are jamming to this right now, they're loving it!!! The 90's was the coolest decade in music videos. Members of the jury this video is my evidence. I use to make my sister play this for me over and over on her old cassette player when I was a child. I'm 35 now and still love it. This song really grows on you. I can't get it out if my head "His daddy was a rockstar named Pig Nugent." Haha... That line never gets old! The year is 2021 and this still rocks The year is 2525 and this song still rocks!!!! The 1990s were the only time you could tune your radio to any regular top-40 station and hear something like this. I played this song with my band in the 90s. Still rocks! ???????????????????????? This has to be one of the most catchy guitar riffs in history. I still catch myself humming this tune when every I'm stressed, bored, concentrating or just chilling. I'm 22 and the first time I've heard this song was a few days ago when my dad showed it to me. It's been stuck in my head since then and I really like it, although I'm sad the wolf died ???? I'm thankful for all the good music he's shown me throughout my life, especially since it's become my taste in music now and most of the songs I hear really make me happy! I never get tired of this song. It's a classic! ?? I wish we can get more songs like these. My dad used to show me this when I was very VERY young, and I thought it was one of the coolest things ever. I still come back to this time to time. That riff Is legendary I was 7 when my dad showed this to me. I remember I asked my mom if I could show it to my class because we were reading The Three Little Pigs and she said no. I was very sad Long before this hit dropped, I had a HS friend (RIP DK) who liked this band. They'll always be "Green Jello" in my heart. I remember seeing this on MTV when I was a kid. I remember thinking it was 1 of the coolest and funniest videos/music videos ever! I'm so glad I was able to find this on YouTube!! The "NOT BY THE HAIR OF MY CHINNY CHIN CHIN!" Chorus is still as funny as it was 30 years ago when I first heard it when I was between 6th and 7th grade ???? You have to love a band that tells everyone they suck at the very start of the video. The ending has them remind you of it. I love it. I raised my three sons listening to Green Jellö, Beastie Boys and Ko?n. Despite my attempts to corrupt them, they turned out to be decent humans. So proud of them. ???? 2019 and is still groovy... Never gets old. Saw them in concert a couple times, gotta say they were one of the better and more entertaining shows you can go to. Could you imagine the show they’d put on if they had the budget of lady Gaga or something like that. I definitely use these voices whenever I read my kids the Three Little Pigs. Awesome song. "Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin" is gonna be ringing in my head all day at work! This song rocks and brings back great memories ???? This song is so Metallica. I just absolutely love it. Brings back so mini memories My buddy Travis was a huge fan of this song and the band. He passed a few years ago so it's nice to hear this and remember all the fun we had. I would go into my parents' room when I was 4 and steal this cassette to listen to this song. My parents would always find out and take it away, and I would always just steal it back. Revisited for the first time since, and I'm happy I did ???? Heavy metal fairy tale, it's 2022 and this is still one of the best song to video ratio ever..... Foda demais. I still really do I love the very ending “And the moral of the story is that bands with no talent can easily amuse idiots with a stupid puppet show” It’s almost 2023 and this song still rocks ????????
