Video: Video: Woman slammed into pavement, put into a chokehold by suspect in Crown Heights attack.

Crown Heights, Brooklyn-- A 34-year-old woman walking down the street was slammed into the ground, put into a chokehold and had her backpack removed by a suspect that remains on the loose, according to police. The incident occured at approximately 11:30 p.m. on August 8th, on Bergen St, near Schenectady Ave. After the attack, the woman was treated by EMS for brusing and lacerations to her face and neck.The victim's stolen backpack reportedly contained her cell phone and an electronic tablet. Police say the wanted suspect is a male with a beard, last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and pants, along with red sneakers.
