Video: Video: NVIDIA Titan V Tear-Down: First Look at $3000 Volta

GN's first look at a Volta GPU: The Titan V, targeted at scientific and compute workloads, is being torn-down for analysis. Ad: Buy the iFixit Pro Tech or Essentials Toolkit Article: GN Modmat Pre-Orders: Taking apart the nVidia Titan V graphics card reveals its GPU and HBM2, which shows us the die size, the VRM design and layout, and the PCB. We also look at the Titan V cooler, which will help in determining thermal performance later. The nVidia Titan V is a high-end compute and scientific card for data-driven use cases, and so it is a bit different from the gaming audience. We can still learn from the architecture, though, and start determining what nVidia will do for Volta, Ampere, or future gaming architectures. Like our content?
